Masaryk University is the second-largest public university in the Czech Republic. At present it comprises nine faculties with over 200 departments, institutes and clinics and it is recognized as one of the most important teaching and research institutions in the Czech Republic and of the South Moravian Region (in total around 4.500 staff). The Faculty of Economics and Administration (FEA) is one of the largest faculties of the Masaryk University (MU). The faculty’s primary objective is further education and research in the economic sciences on the regional, national and international level.
 
The Department of Finance provides the Finance and Accounting study programme, which includes the Finance specialization at the bachelor’s and master’s follow-up levels, both in the full-time and part-time form. The department also provides the Finance specialization at the doctoral level as well as the Finance and Law specialization (interfaculty bachelor’s full-time study provided in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University).
