Prof.Dr. Bettina Fuhrmann
Prof. Dr. Bettina Fuhrmann is University Professor at Vienna University of Economics and Business. She is teaching director of the Master’s programs in Business Education and Head of Institute for Business Education and Social Skills Program. Her research interest involves Financial Literacy and Economic Literacy Social skills and personal development evaluation in education. Bettina Fuhrmann’s empirical research concentrates mainly on evaluation research (in various forms and on numerous issues). Current projects have focused on company simulation, resulting in large amounts of useful data on the didactic possibilities and limitations of these simulations, leading to the development of planning heuristics for developing and improving the use of company simulations in teaching. A further project concerns the evaluation of teachers and the quality of teaching. Her methods of empirical social research include in a particular combination of qualitative and quantitative methodology.
